DESCRIPTION:The Citizens Police Academy (CPA) is a multi-week community education program designed to give residents a behind-the-scenes look at the Winston-Salem Police Department. Participants learn directly from officers and professional staff about patrol operations\, investigations\, training\, policies\, and decision-making processes—building transparency\, understanding\, and stronger community relationships. Spring CPA at the WSPD will run from March 12\, 2026 to June 4\, 2026 on Thursday evenings from 6:30-9:30pm.
